We (Barbara, John and myself) were happy to get a thank you note from Russell's friend Sarah Jane. She was visiting her sister in Houston a few weeks ago and Russell drove over to Houston to bring her by for a few days. She is a very lovely young woman and we were happy to make her acquaintance. I believe Russell met her the first time summer before last when he was doing an internship in Washington D.C. and they were able to renew their acquaintance this past fall when Russell was again doing another internship in D.C.
She got along well with John and he with her. She left from Austin on the Monday before last just before we had the big ice storm. We are glad that she was able to leave when she did, the airport was a mess the next couple of days.
