John sent this to me in an email, and I figured out how to load it up to Google Docs and embed it into a blog.

Rachel passes the Utah Bar
Check out her blog to read about how she found out about passing the bar. She is planning on returning to Utah in October to be sworn in, so her status will change from law-school-graduate to attorney-at-law.
This has been a great week for James and Rachel, both finding out that they passed their bar exams. I am so proud of them!

James Murdock, attorney at law
The Idaho edition. James put in a lot of hard work getting ready for the bar exam. Given the fact that 25% of the folks who took the bar exam did not pass, it just shows how prepared James was for the test.
CONGRATULATIONS!

Email from Rachel
Hello Family!!
China is good. We are currently in Yaungshou and it is gorgeous. We are taking a sleeper train tonight to Gaungzhou. I am sure these names mean even less to you than they do to me! So far it has been fun. Yesterday we swam in a mud bath in a cave and went on a bamboo ride down a river. And I went to this eye glasses place and got them to make two pairs of glasses based off my current glasses for about $40 each. China is so cheap! Tuesday we head to the beach for a few days. Saturday we head home. I am very excited to return to the states and hopefully not be so tired/hot/having to pay for any and all drinking water. Nothing like leaving the country to realize I actually love America.
But the trip has been great. Hong Kong was nice and then we took a sleeper train to Shanghai and made lots of friends on the train...there was this four year old kid that we were playing games with and with his 14 year old cousin and it's funny how the 4 year old just didn't understand that I didn't speak Mandarin. I thought about Harris trying to grasp that concept dealing with a non-English speaker.
Anyway, love you all!

Best. Comic. Ever.
The 1940s were a simpler time. Batman was not always the dark, conflicted man we know him as today. (i.e. The Dark Knight). One summer he and Superman decided to take a break from crime fighting and to instead relax through surfing.
And thanks to the internet, I was able to purchase this 1948 comic (for more than the cover price) so that I can join Batman and Superman in their old time fun.
Maybe we can all learn a thing from Batman, Superman, and Robin. Just because super villains are trying to kill and de-mask you, that does not mean you can't still enjoy yourself.

Rachel is in China
We got this from Rachel. Someone was going to correct me when I told him that Rachel went to China. He asked me where and I replied Hong Kong. He started to say that Hong Kong wasn't part of China and then he remembered...
Just wanted to let you know I got here safely! A little tired...luckily it is 1:30 a.m. here, so we should be going to sleep soon!! The flight here wasn't too bad--I think China Airlines is made for people with very short legs....
